For all the music nerds out there, MUSE is an iOS music guessing game that puts your ear and voice to the test. Players hear a snippet of a song and have to sing or speak the title back. The app listens live, scores accuracy in real time, and adapts difficulty based on the player's taste and performance.
Built with three distinct game modes, including one that scrapes live Spotify and Apple Music playlists so the song pool is always current. The goal is to personalize the app as much as possible and cater it to each user's taste. Engineered simultaneous audio playback and live speech capture using AVFoundation and SFSpeechRecognizer, alongside an adaptive scoring engine that evolves with player taste and performance. Developed in Swift for iOS, with a focus on smooth audio handling and a responsive UI.
